Chinas bauxite demand fuels Guineas mining boom

With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, the demand for bauxite continues to grow, which 

has brought new changes to the global bauxite market. Among them, Guinea, as one of the main suppliers

 of bauxite to China, has experienced rapid development in its mining industry in recent years. According 

to the latest data, China imported a record 100 million tons of bauxite from Guinea in  2019, and this 

number is expected to continue to grow in 2020.

The main reason for the rapid development of Guinea's bauxite industry is its abundant resources and

 unique geographical advantages. Guinea has a large amount of high-quality bauxite resources,with 

reserves and grades ranking among the top in the world. Meanwhile, Guinea has a superior 

geographical location, adjacent to the west coast of the African continent, with excellent port facilities

 and transportation conditions, which enables Guinea's bauxite to be conveniently and quickly transported 

to China.
